New on DVD - Sept 11, 2007

There's a slew of new horror DVD's coming out tomorrow, unfortunately most of them are re-releases.

The Return of the Living Dead (Collector's Edition) - Directed by Dan O'Bannon, who went on to write a whole bunch of stuff, including a lot of the Aliens stuff. Return of the Living Dead is an all-time classic - definitely the best of the 80's zombie movies. Includes one of my favorite lines of all time, "Send more paramedics".

From Beyond (Unrated Director's Cut) - H.P. Lovecraft's From Beyond is another classic.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (Collector's Edition) - they probably brought this out due to this year's "Invasion", which is a remake of the orignal... much like this one is. Good movie, though.

The Fly Collection (The Fly [1958] / Return Of The Fly [1959] / The Curse Of The Fly [1965]) - a collection of all the old Fly movies. Won't find the one with Jeff Goldblum in here, unfortunately. Well, maybe, fortunately.

Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror - basically a hip-hop version of Tales From the Crypt.

Tales From the Crypt / Vault of Horror (Double Feature) - the non-hip-hop version.

Cursed / Dark Water - double pack, twice the crap for 1.5 times the price.

The Burning - A good, old-school horror from 1981.

Scarecrows - From 1988

Witchfinder General - 1968's most violent film... seriously.

The Food of the Gods - Morgan and his friends are on a hunting trip on a remote Canadian island when they are attacked by a swarm of giant wasps... yup.
